A commercial building near the Suspension Bridge in Baghdad. Wide glass fronts face the street, giving the spaces inside natural light and a clear presence from outside.
The concrete frame is left exposed on the facade as an architectural feature, with dark metal sun-breakers that cut the heat on the glass and give the facade a regular rhythm. A metal railing and a sign crown the building.
