A story that began in 1984 — and continues today
We started in 1984 as Wahab, and in 2014 we founded Wahab Al-Etmad Contracting & Real Estate Development. Today we work with a full engineering team from five branches in Baghdad, Basra, Duhok and Zakho.

Founded in 2014, Wahab Al-Etmad has grown into one of Iraq’s leading companies in construction and in interior and exterior finishing. We use proven materials and current engineering methods to deliver work that is both durable and well finished.

From first idea to handover, one clear method
Every project follows the same disciplined sequence, and each stage is inspected and signed off before the next one begins.

Preparation
Clearing the site, setting accurate levels and laying a compacted gravel bed to specification.
- 02
Foundations
Excavation, reinforcement with certified steel and precise formwork, then pouring and curing the concrete.
- 03
Superstructure
Columns, beams and slabs cast to the drawings, with the reinforcement checked before every pour.
- 04
Walls & services
Walls built to the specified thickness; electrical and plumbing runs installed and pressure-tested.
- 05
Insulation & finishing
Water and thermal insulation where needed, then interior and exterior finishes — paint, windows and doors.
- 06
Inspection & handover
Final tests on concrete, insulation and services, a complete clean, then handover to the client.
